A Young Man's Dream and A Dream Interrupted
A Young Man's Dream
A young man dreamed with sparks and light,
That filtered through the air, waiting to manifest day and night.
Finding its way into his adulthood, shining bright,
Making him a well-known public figure through dedication and fight.
He was soaring so quickly, becoming internationally known,
Until one tragic day, the fate of an NJ Transit vehicle operator snatched him from his vision and musical throne.
Leaving his fans, friends, and mother asking God what went wrong,
For his dream was flourishing so high, vibrant, powerful, and strong.
With hopes of earning enough to give his mother happiness each day,
In a home he would purchase through hard work, determination, and prayer.
Yet his mother watched her only son's childhood dreams and adult visions fade away,
As his future and aspirations slowly drifted into thin air.
Though his earthly journey suddenly came to an end,
His spiritual energy remains, a love that will not bend.
Embracing his mother with everlasting love and care,
A cherished presence she still feels, forever near.

A Dream Interrupted
A young man dreamed with sparks of light,
That filled the air through day and night.
Waiting to manifest and brightly shine,
Transforming his future through purpose divine.
His path unfolded, radiant and bright,
Through dedication, courage, and relentless fight.
He became a well-known public figure to many,
Built from hard work, not fortune or plenty.
He was soaring quickly toward international fame,
As the world began recognizing his name.
Until the fate of tragedy entered the scene,
And snatched him away from the dreams he'd seen.
Leaving fans, friends, and his mother behind,
Searching for answers they could never find.
Asking God why a vision so vibrant and strong,
Could be taken away when nothing seemed wrong.
He dreamed of providing a happier way,
For his mother to smile every single day.
To buy her a home through his labor and prayer,
A gift of love beyond compare.
Instead, she watched the dreams of her only son,
From childhood to manhood, suddenly undone.
His vision appeared to dissolve in thin air,
Leaving silence and sorrow everywhere.
Yet though his journey was altered in time,
His spirit still echoes through rhythm and rhyme.
For dreams do not vanish when hearts still believe,
And love leaves a legacy grief cannot retrieve.
