Did Cardi B Accuses Police Of Racism After Been Kicked Out Of Hotel For ‘Smoking Weed’? 




There are few articles online claims that Cardi B accuses Albany, NY police of racism after being kicked out of the hotel because she could not smoke her weed. 


The 25 -year-old pregnant rap Queen Cardi B from the Bronx said that the people of the Hilton hotel were getting complaints of smelling marijuana which lead her to be escorted out by the police. The former "Love and Hip-Hop: New York Reality Star Cardi B said in a video on Instagram that the floor she stayed on in her hotel room, smelled like weed. Therefore the police came in the middle of the night, knocked on her manager, and her door, speaking about they were smoking marijuana, and asked them to leave the premises. 


The "Bodak Yellow" sing Cardi B said in her video that she never talks about smoking weed because everybody knows that she does not smoke weed. She then asserted that if she smokes weed, it will get her very paranoid and not anyone on her team members smoke weed. 


The Hip-Hop/Rapper said that she believed that they kicked them out for other reason and it is not about smoking weed. Next, she goes on to say how can she be smoking weed if I'm sleeping and is wild sick. According to TMZ video, it showed Cardi B, who performed at the Times Union Center Saturday night, leaving the hotel Sunday morning shouting "racist mother fuckers." She suddenly goes on to say that they were not going to do that to her. Mind you, everyone who was on the floor she stayed at was Caucasian," she said in the Instagram video. "Yet you wanna kick us out? Fuck out of here. I will not." She further goes on to say that the city is"well know for being racist." 


According to the resource online, a spokesman for the Albany police told the Daily News that officers responded to the hotel around 1 a.m., subsequent being called by hotel management about " an odor of marijuana trickling out the door. Accompanying with a loud party on the second floor." Albany officer Steven A. Smith told the News that he even acknowledge with the officers how the singer crew where a little loud. "When the officers arrived at the second-floor room, Cardi B's squad and manager were already preparing to gather up and vacate the hotel, because they were asked to do so by the hotel management before the police arrival. 


Albany police officer Smith announced that the singers' team were cooperative when the officers escorted Cardi B's assemblage to the lobby, while her manager went back upstair to wake up the singer. 


According to Officer Smith, he told the press that the singer was flustered with the hotel staff, who made the illogical decision for them to leave. A source told Us Weekly that the Bronx native and team "were the only people of color on the floor." 

When the journalist contacts the hotel overseer for an answer to the complaint, they declined to comment when reached by the press.
